Swedish Pine Lamps

Welcome!
My name is Lennart and I work with wood, something I learnt from my father, who like my grandfather was a cabinet maker. I have not had woodworking as a living but always as a hobby in my spare time.

Today I mostly make lamps of my own design. The lamps are made from pine wood and have routed-out motifs where the light shines through the thin areas. Wood is a living material and the grain and density varies from one lamp to another, making each lamp unique. The lamps come in different designs where the wall lamps, window lamps and table lamps primarily are decorative background lights while the hanging ceiling lamps can be used as a general light source in a room or as work light over a table or desk. Whatever the type, they all work to create a cosy atmosphere in your home.

All the work, from unplaned wood to finished product, is done here in my workshop. All products are handmade, but with the help of machines where the work piece or tool is fed and handled by hand. Some of the machines and all templates and some special tools are home made, mainly from wood.
